Mexico!

Mexico!

Mur and I had a wonderful adventure in California Baja del Sur in January of this year. Our journey started in Loreto and then we drove South to La Paz and Todos Santos (our favorite city!). Below are a few of the highlights from our trip. This was our resort just outside of Loreto. It had like 6 pools so I made sure to swim in all of them! Our room was on the top floor in the middle of the building. We went on a walk near our resort. Mur really wanted his picture by a cactus. If … [Read more...]

Winter lookback

Winter lookback

As life seems to go faster and faster, I put off my blogging more and more. It is difficult to blog backwards so I'm going to try again to keep up with the goings-on of life. But I thought I would put in a few photos of the last few months of winter. THANKSGIVING: We went to the cabin again this year and had a little bit of snow on the ground. We had a nice large group and the Lady set up a great table for us. Our friends D&H had an adorable new baby girl who made her first … [Read more...]

Non Halloween Part 2

Non Halloween Part 2

We were Waldo, Wenda, and Woof! I had so much fun putting together the costumes and making our hats. I also realized that I don't have a career in hat making. The ones you see below are my 4th, 5th, and 6th attempts at it. :) Rugbie didn't attend the party, but we had fun without him, playing pool and hitting up the Matador for some food. We ended the night in true style, setting off the alarm to Stace Face's building and running for the car. … [Read more...]

Non Halloween

I don't celebrate Halloween, but I LOVE dressing up. We usually don't dress up for Halloween (unless it is to celebrate lil bro-in-law's birthday), but this year I got inspired to do something. My awesome friend Stace Face invited us to dinner and games at her place and we're all going to dress up just cause it's fun! :) I am really excited to reveal what our costumes are, but I need to go out and actually create them first! Until the big reveal, I'll see if you can guess.... What are we … [Read more...]

My Fall Must Haves

My Fall Must Haves

Although I'm always resistant to say goodbye to Summer (why so short Seattle?!), Fall is by far my favorite season. I absolutely love feeling the crisp air on my face, watching the leaves turn, reading in front of the fire and dressing in layers. Oh how I love to layer! These are the pieces I'd love to add to my wardrobe this fall. You can click on the image to learn more about the items. What is your must have article of clothing for the fall? … [Read more...]

30 before 30

30 before 30

Yes, it is true, today is my 29th birthday. GASP! In a lot of ways I am very grown up: I have been married for five years, we bought a house, we have a dog, we both have grown up jobs. However, most of the time I don't feel like I am any more "on track" than when I turned 20. As my new motto this year is to say YES! to adventure (however small those adventures might be), I decided it would be fun to make a list of 30 things I want to do before I turn 30 (I also want to take a picture to … [Read more...]
