goodness, is that really outside your window?! I think i’d be totally hibernating. or quilting. =) cute flying geese! why didn’t they go south for the winter?
Yes, the view definitely inspires both. 🙂 It’s my first winter here and my first winter quilting, so I’m very excited. I don’t think those flying geese expected snow so soon, they should be heading out the door!
Oh my the most perfect weather to be quilting? Where are you that you have that much snow already? The snow looks quite lovely as your geese are! Happy quilting and keep warm!
It does feel like I should be quilting more now that it’s snowing! We’re in the Cascade Mountains in Washington State. It’s our first winter here so we’ll see how 4 months of snow inspires my quilting 🙂 I am already craving more color and it’s only been 2 days 🙂
Yah I know! We knew it was coming, but it’s something different to actually have it around. It totally changes everything! Carrying my heavy sewing machine across our property is going to start becoming interesting!
Love those colors!
Michelle, I finally made a decision with my Etsy shopping spree! I changed my mind a dozen times – fabrics I want, threads I need, labels for fun, but in the end I order WOOL BATTING by Quilters Dream, I have never tried it, but I love how poufy it looks on the quilts I have seen with it, and it is machine washable. This will be used for a quilt for ME. Hopefully sooner rather than later!
About the No-reply blogger status, I have no idea how to fix, hope you got it worked out, but I am doing a giveaway currently and I am so surprised at how many responses are No-repliers. I doubt they even know I have no way to contact them.
Happy stitching & and thanks thanks again!
ooooh, that very exciting! You’ll have to let me know how you like it. I’ve always seen it, but never made the leap to buy. I love the idea of it though! I’ll definitely follow along on the progress of that quilt to see how it looks. And that is so awesome that it will be a quilt for you! I have my first one for me in the works too and I’m really excited 🙂
I wouldn’t have known I was showing up as no reply except a few bloggers had my email from my old blog comments and let me know. I now just put my email address down for all giveaways. It’s such a shame that it’s such an issue for so many 🙁
Wow! Upon first seeing this picture I thought I want to live where you live, it is beautiful! Then I remember I don’t handle the cold very well. Come to think of it, I don’t handle the heat very well either. Hmm, maybe it is the nearly-Summer heat that gave me the temporary delusion of craving your snowy property.
Haha, it is beautiful, but I am definitely missing the heat. I’m definitely a warm weather girl. Fall was incredibly short (not used that!) so I didn’t have much time to transition. But, it is nice to sit by a warm fire and drink warm things 🙂

Thanks girl! I’m totally digging the flying geese. Might just keep making them through the winter!
