Yes, it is true, today is my 29th birthday. GASP! In a lot of ways I am very grown up: I have been married for five years, we bought a house, we have a dog, we both have grown up jobs. However, most of the time I don’t feel like I am any more “on track” than when I turned 20. As my new motto this year is to say YES! to adventure (however small those adventures might be), I decided it would be fun to make a list of 30 things I want to do before I turn 30 (I also want to take a picture to chronicle each one). I wanted these to be fun, challenging, and do-able (but would take a little effort)… Who wants to join me in making 30 their best year ever?!
1. Go to the zoo/aquarium (and take pictures)
2. Take a sewing class
3. Practice ukelele weekly
4. Go on a big trip with Mur (Switzerland?)
5. Get in shape (go to the YMCA 3 times a week)
6. De-clutter (that includes clearing out the basement… eek)
7. Do a personal photography project
8. Read Les Miserables
9. Get one of my photos published
10. Get professional photos taken of me and Mur
11. Complete one of these house projects: reading nook or office guest room

I love it! It IS a little scary realizing this is the last year in the 20’s when in a lot of ways, like you said, I feel as young and lost as when I was 20. I love that you remind me to take the little adventures in life…keep bloggin, cant wait to see some of the pics of these coming to fruition 🙂

Wish I was on the brink of 30–I want to do all these things with you! You have always been such a good person to look up to and your passionate pursuit to embrace life for all its worth is no exception. Thanks for blazing the trail and setting the example for me to follow. I love you and am praying that God will bless all of your dreams and make them your realities.
