I discovered my husband reading in our yard today and it was too cute to pass up a couple of photos. He really didn’t like that I was hovering around, but I think the pics are so fun!

Just a few more weeks until I leave for some photo classes in Montana! I’ve never been to Montana and cannot wait to experience the amazing scenery I’ve only seen pictures of. In honor of my trip I did a mini session with a cowgirl hat I bought for the trip. Thought I’d share a few

I spent last weekend in beautiful Port Townsend. I would love to move there someday. I love small seaside towns… sigh… I just bought a wide angle lens so I took it along on my trip to test it out. The world looks very different through that lens, but I love some of the effects I get with it. I thought I’d post a couple of my favorite wide angle shots.

I had a very relaxing Memorial Day BBQ with my family. It allowed me some time to play with my lensbaby and have a bit of fun. I tried out the macro attachments and saw some things (i.e. bugs) way too close for comfort. Despite that, I got some good shots. These are a few from my in-laws backyard.
